We hired Matt Stewart and his crew to remove a diseased Ash tree from our yard last spring. He completed the job with care, ensuring that no other trees, plants or outbuildings in the yard were damaged.
The clean-up was quick and thorough. The only indication that a tree and its stump had been removed was a patch of level dirt where the Ash tree had once been. Matt answered all our questions with friendly professionalism and a keen knowledge of his craft.

Matt, the “Friendly Arborist”, was referred to us by our neighbour after the ice storm of 2025.
We had some pretty extensive and complex tree damage to our property in conjunction with the adjoining vacant neighbouring property. As a result, we were in need of professional advice and help. We’d been waiting months for another company to come out and give us a quote; however, we finally gave up and went with Matt instead.
He came right over, assessed the damage, and gave us a quote along with details on how he’d go about clearing the damage. Matt was super easy (and friendly) to deal with throughout the entire process, along with great communication throughout each step.
Matt and his crew were professional, efficient, and did a fantastic job. They worked safely, cleaned everything up afterward, and made the whole process easy from start to finish.
We were so happy with the services that Matt offered that we enlisted his help on felling another tree on our property and have recruited him for help bringing down yet another tree this spring.
