The Friendly Arborist started for a simple reason. Matt knew tree care could be done better.
Over the years, he developed a clear vision of what professional tree care should look like. Highly skilled. Safety-focused. Organized. Grounded in real arboriculture knowledge. He wanted a company where long-term tree health mattered, where crews were treated well and where homeowners felt informed instead of pressured.
When he looked around, he couldn’t find a company he wanted to work for.
So he built the one he wished existed.
